AI visibility
What AI systems say about your brand
Customers increasingly do not search – they ask: which bank offers the most favourable loan, where the weekly shop is cheapest, which product is the best in its category. The answer comes from an AI assistant as a short recommendation with a few names. If you are not among them, the customer is not considering you at that moment.
Media Net measures the AI visibility of brands. The research shows whether AI systems recommend you, how they describe you and which sources they use to build their answers.
What we measure
- Whether AI recommends you in your category
- Whether you are the first choice or AI lists you behind your competitors
- Which strengths AI recognises and what it warns about
- Which sources it cites most often
- How understandable your website is to AI systems
- Whether the information about you is accurate and up to date
Along with the findings, you receive recommendations on how to improve your AI visibility and direct your marketing budget more effectively.
How we measure
A single query gives an impression, not data. AI does not always give the same answer to the same question, and different systems read different sources. That is why we measure AI visibility as research:
- we ask different AI systems the same set of questions, under the same conditions and with anonymised search;
- we repeat the questions until the results stabilise;
- most of the questions do not contain your brand name, which shows whether AI recommends you on its own;
- we measure competitors using the same procedure, at the same time;
- with every answer, we record and classify the sources AI cites;
- we carry out every subsequent measurement in the same way, which shows what has changed.
Why Media Net
Research method. We have been conducting research for more than 30 years. We have applied this experience with sampling, repeatability and interpretation of results to measuring the visibility and reputation of brands in AI system answers.
Media expertise. AI builds a large part of its answers from media coverage. We have been analysing media content for more than 20 years, and together with Presscut, a member of the same group, we connect visibility in AI answers with daily media monitoring. That is why we know which sources are picked up and cited.
From findings to action. The result is not a table of figures, but a list of concrete, prioritised steps: which page to expand, what content to publish and which media to send it to.
AI influences customer choice. Brands cannot afford not to know what AI says about them.
